***A Beautiful Evil***

      Personally, reading this book made me put a whole new twist into my life. In Darkness Becomes Her, I followed Aristanae (Ari) on an adventure to locate her family who she never met. She has this long grayish hair that can NEVER change, even though she cuts it and tries to dye it...
  So, she goes to New 2, or New Orleans before it was destroyed when she learns that her mother used to live there. She meets Crank, Sebastian, Violet and others who have helped her stay there for free, and she also notices that unlike the people outside of New 2, she belongs with them because they are considered "freaks." They are not normal, their appearances are not normal, and their powers are not normal.
   So, everything's great, right?  Ari makes new friends, she has this huge crush and her life is normal, right? Then why is Athena, the goddess of war trying to kill her? I followed Ari as she develops and realizes that she is a gorgon, and as her friends and the people she loves get endangered, I was amazed at how her powers grew.
   A 5/5 star rating for me! :)~
